Contact VitalRecordsHub
VitalRecordsHub is a small editorial project, not a customer-service operation for any government agency. Please read this page before writing.
What we can help with
- Corrections. If a fee, address, phone number, or office name on this site is out of date or incorrect, send the page URL and the corrected information. We re-check and update within a few business days.
- Broken links. State health department URLs change often. Tell us which page on our site links to a dead destination and we will fix it.
- Missing counties. If your county is not listed under your state, send the county name and we will consider adding it.
- General editorial questions about our methodology, sources, or content reuse.
What we cannot help with
- Status checks on a vital records request you submitted. Only the issuing agency can tell you where your request stands. Their phone number is on the relevant state or county page.
- Expedited processing, fee waivers, or apostilles. These are handled exclusively by the issuing office and, in some cases, the Secretary of State.
- Genealogy research, family tree construction, or locating living relatives. We are not a research firm.
- Refunds for any fees you have paid to a government office or third-party vendor.
How to reach us
Email is the only channel we monitor. Send a clear, single-issue message to:
editor@vitalrecordshub.example
Please include the URL of the page you are writing about, a one-line description of the issue, and any source link that supports the correction. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored links, or paid placements of any kind.
Press & data licensing
Journalists, librarians, and researchers may reuse short factual excerpts (office addresses, fees, processing times) with attribution. For larger reuse — for example incorporating our state directory into a database product — please write before scraping; we are happy to discuss reasonable terms.
